Spread analysis: same dose, different invoice
At any given dose, every provider dispenses the identical manufacturer product. The gap between the cheapest and dearest row is therefore pure retail — margin, service, brand. Here is that gap, dose by dose.

What the spreads say
- The gap never closes. Mounjaro spreads run £70–£85 per 4 weeks at every rung of the ladder; Wegovy peaks at £90.00 on the 1 mg dose. Paying the high side of the board is a standing surcharge, not a one-off.
- Annualise it. Thirteen 4-week cycles a year × a £70.01 spread at Mounjaro 15 mg = £910.13 a year for the same pen from a different postbox. At Wegovy 1 mg the same arithmetic reaches £1,170.00.
- Starter prices are bait-adjacent. Promo codes compress the first month, then expire. The median ongoing price is the honest midpoint of the market — anything above it needs a reason (bundled coaching, clinician review cadence, included consumables).

Methodology
An index is only worth reading if you know how it's built. Four rules, no exceptions.
Published tariffs only
Every figure is the provider's own published price for a 4-week supply at the stated dose, taken from its public pricing page. No quotes, no estimates, no invented numbers.
Arithmetic, not negotiation
Rows sort ascending by ongoing price. No provider can pay for a better rank. The one exception is flagged, not hidden: our recommended provider is pinned top with a ★ — its prices and its true distance from the board low stay on display.
First months quoted separately
Introductory codes get their own column and are never blended into the ongoing figure. A £35-off first month does not make a provider cheap; the ongoing column decides that.

What is the cheapest GLP-1 price in the UK right now?
At our 4 July 2026 check: £79.97 per 4 weeks for Wegovy 0.25 mg (Boots Online Doctor) and £145.99 for Mounjaro 2.5 mg (Click2Pharmacy) — the lowest ongoing figures on the board. Both are starter doses. Maintenance doses cost more, so check the spread tables for the dose you'd actually stay on.
Why do prices differ when the medicine is identical?
At a given dose, every row on the board is the same manufacturer product. The difference is retail: margin, delivery model, and what's bundled — clinician review cadence, coaching, needles. That difference currently runs £70–£90 per 4 weeks at the same dose. Five minutes on this board is well paid.
Do I keep paying the first-month price?
No. First-month figures come from introductory codes and apply to a first order only; from month two you pay the ongoing price. That's why the board sorts on the ongoing column. Judge a provider on month six, not month one.
Is the ranking paid for?
No. Rows sort ascending by ongoing price and no provider can buy position. The single exception is visible rather than hidden: The Weight Clinic is pinned top with a ★ flag as our pick — with its real prices and its real distance from the board low printed in the row. No provider can pay to move up the board.
Can I actually buy at the prices shown?
Only if a prescriber agrees. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide) are prescription-only medicines: every listed provider runs a consultation first and can decline. The board is price information, not an offer of supply — and prices can change between checks, so confirm on the provider's own site.
Which is cheaper — Mounjaro or Wegovy?
Per month at starter dose: Wegovy, £79.97 vs £145.99 at the board lows. Per result, the picture shifts — in the SURMOUNT-5 head-to-head trial, average weight loss was about 20% on tirzepatide against about 14% on semaglutide. Our cost-per-percentage-point report runs the arithmetic.
